MIDLIFE REVIEW and REALIGNMENT
You’ve logged quite a few “life miles” and are a good way down the road.
You’ve worked hard. You’d like to think you’ve done your best–at least most of the time.
Things haven’t always gone as planned. In fact, sometimes things have blown up in your face.
But you made adjustments, and kept going.
And here you are. Today. But . . . where exactly is “HERE?”
And, when you figure that out, where exactly are you HEADED?
It’s not unusual to get stuck on these 2 questions. More than once, over a lifespan.
It’s crucial to get clarity on these 2 things.
HERE'S THE THING
There are various points throughout anyone’s life where we need to take a step back and evaluate where we are on the map.
What brings this about?
Sometimes it’s a life transition, exiting one life chapter and entering a new one.
Other times it’s not that, it’s a smaller shift that’s happening–one we don’t really have a handle on yet.
And then there are those periods where we sense things are changing–usually inside of us–but not feeling too clear about.
Of course, there are times when life doesn’t seem to be cooperating with us much anymore. What used to work isn’t working.
We know we can’t ignore it any longer. Time to figure out what’s going on.
But then we DON’T, and we get super-stuck. And then we STILL don’t.
And little-by-little, we end up feeling increasingly confused, frustrated, and lost.
THE PROGRAM
I have a program that will help. It’s designed to help you get clarity on those 2 important questions:
- where am I now, and
- where am I going.
You’ll zoom out and get a bird’s eye view of your life, and zoom in to the points in time that are meaningful to reflect on, considering how they shaped you and your life path.
You have a story, and it explains how you got to this point, today.
But there’s one other crucial question you must answer: are all the important parts of my life sufficiently aligned?
My program also looks at the parts of who you are, eg, your:
- strengths
- core values
- purpose
- priorities
- vision
- goals
- interests
As well as assists you in evaluating how well all these parts are aligned.
Whatever else you need, you MUST know these 3 things to thrive and excel in the 2nd half of your life:
- where am I (and how did I get here)? Related to this is WHO am I and who have I become?
- where am I going? Where do I need to be going?
- how well-aligned are my “drivers?” And what adjustments do I need to make to get in alignment?
RESULTS
When we know ourselves well enough to know who we are and where we are right now, where we’re going, and in addition, we know the important parts of ourselves (core values, purpose, priorities, strengths, vision, etc) are in sync and well-aligned, then we move through life with:
- less friction
- less frustration
- less confusion
- more energy
- more enthusiasm
- more focus
- more motivation
- clear priorities
- healthy boundaries
- improved performance
- clear direction
WHO AM I?
My name is Sean Patrick Cox, coming to you from Chicago, that great world-class city overflowing with grit and charisma.
I coach men who are in the second half of their lives, who are aching to explode out of their status quo existence so they can live an adventure worthy of the spirit that yearns within.
My mission is to equip men who feel stuck and stagnant to reignite their purpose, their power, and their passion, once again living as men of integrity and impact.
High performance, personal growth, the healing path, and “decoding greatness” are topics that consume me and fill my brain, and are the things I constantly read about, ponder, and consult with clients on everyday.
I’ve learned many things along the way, testing and re-testing different frameworks and protocols, and developing my own best practices and methodology that you can’t figure out simply by reading a book or two – it takes field testing, practice, repetition, experience, and a lot of work over many years.
If you’re a qualified candidate and good fit for my coaching programs and services, I’d like to talk to you.
